Place the bones in a slow cooker.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add the onion and garlic cloves.
Pour in enough filtered water to cover the bones.
Add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar to bring out the minerals from the bones.
Cook for the recommended amount of time: Chicken bones: 8-24 hours Fish bones: 6-24 hours Beef bones: 8-72 hours Add the chopped vegetables or veggies scraps the last 20-30 minutes of cooking.
Strain the broth and discard the bones and vegetables.
Pour broth into jars and store in the fridge.
