- 2 Large Ripe Avocados (chilled, peeled, and pitted)
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup Full-fat Coconut Milk (unsweetened)
- 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- A Pinch of Salt
- A Bit of Ground Cinnamon
Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
Scoop the pulp into a food processor.
Add the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, coconut milk, maple syrup, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Blend until creamy, stopping to scrape down the bowl with a spatula as needed.
Taste and see if you'd like to add any additional sweetener.
Serve the chocolate avocado mousse in four glasses, cups or small bowls.
Garnish with your favorite toppings such as shredded coconut, berries, mint leaves, and nuts
- Chill avocados overnight in your refrigerator so you can enjoy this chilled mousse right away. Alternatively, you can place the mousse after it's ready in the fridge for about 20 minutes before serving.
