Our health matters!
The first time I try the Frozen fruit bowl was in Bali, around one year ago, and I completely fell in love with it.
This Frozen Fruit Bowl is sweet and delicious but rich in Zinc, Iron, Copper, Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Antioxidants, Vitamin C, and Omega 3.
Don’t miss the opportunity of having fun, cooking delicious food, while taking care of your body and health!
Ingredients you need to prepare the frozen fruit bowl.
You can make this from practically any frozen fruit you like. I used to prepare this one:
- 1/3 cup of almond milk or any liquid of your preference.
- One cup of frozen mangos
- One cup of frozen strawberries.
I recommend that you use the organic ones since strawberries are the fruits that contained the highest amount of pesticide residues
Check here if you want to know how to clean our fruits and veggies from pesticide residues.
- One frozen banana
The banana will help with the texture, making this recipe creamier and boosting the sweetness.
- A pinch of cinnamon
I love cinnamon! It’s one of my favorite spices.
I add it to a lot of my recipes. It’s delicious and has a bunch of benefits.
Cinnamon is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral. It’s full of antioxidants.
- One tsp of Vanilla extract.
This ingredient is going to boost the taste and will give to our Frozen fruit bowl a fantastic aroma.
To top I will be using:
- Pumpkin seeds
- Chia seeds
- Coconut flakes
- Sunflower seeds
- Dark Chocolate chips
These toppings are all optional. You can use almonds, pecans, sesame, they all match nicely with this recipe.
Follow these steps to prepare it.
- Pour in your blender 1/3 cup of almond milk. You can also use coconut milk, or even water is alright. Just don’t exceed this amount of liquid because that will mess up with the texture.
- Put in your blender one cup of frozen mangos.
- Add one cup of frozen strawberries.
- Add one frozen banana.
- After sprinkling a pinch of cinnamon. More than a pinch in my case!
- Put a tsp of vanilla extract.
- Blend everything till well mixed
- Serve in a bowl
- Top with the pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, coconut flakes, sunflower seeds, and dark chocolate chips.
Enjoy it!!!
This is a super yummy and nutritious snack.
You have everything you could ask for in a healthy meal! Vitamin C, antioxidants, Potassium, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium, iron, nutritional fiber, and omega 3. Just perfect!
There is no need to add sugar since mangos and bananas are sweet enough unless you have a sweet tooth. In that case, you can sweeten with Stevia, honey, or maple syrup.
